Substantial Ice Stones and Widespread Impact
Residents witnessed giant hailstones reaching sizes of 7cm in certain regions. The Bureau of Meteorology announced that different parts across Queensland had been impacted by substantial ice precipitation.

Victorian Climate Difficulties
Simultaneously, approximately one thousand households in the southern state also encountered energy failures after Melbourne saw its heaviest rainfall in over 500 days.
Emergency response teams responded to nearly 600 emergency reports across the state, primarily for building damage but also for collapsed vegetation and water accumulation.

At one point on Sunday, over 28,000 energy customers in the state were lacking electricity.

Humid circumstances were expected to linger along much of eastern Queensland this week as a weather pattern continued to attract humidity against the shoreline.
The following day was predicted as the most rainy day, with continued severe weather risk expected across various areas of both states.

Medical authorities alerted that there was an increased chance of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the countryside regions, specifically given the current weather patterns.
